Quick and easy single-person recipes for the strong, independent you

I see cooking as a practical and essential life skill, with a bit of an art to it.
When I say practical, I mean making certain optimisations: good knives, range of appliances, and meal prep. Often, this extends to noting cold-storage tips, quick-toss recipes, the don’t-feel-like-cooking recipes, and more hacks.
The art, though, is all about merging the right flavours, knowing the spices, choosing the utensils, experimenting and innovating.
Here is a catalogue of flavours that jammed, spices that spiced, and recipes that (surpirisingly) stole the show.
Bon appétit!
